School holidays are the perfect time for children to unplug from their screens, get outdoors and have exciting adventures with their friends. And what they can do that in a stunning woodland setting during work hours - even better!

We have been running nature based school residential trips for... Now we're extending our adventures into the school holidays so that even more children can experience the excitement of a Rootd adventure.

We believe that having adventures outside brings a range of benefits for children - from building confidence and resilience to learning new skills and growing independence.

But most importantly, outdoor adventures are great fun!

You can choose from one of our three outdoor days.

Wild Survivors

Children learn the essential survival skills needed to thrive in the outdoors, such as fire making, shelter building and outdoor cooking.

Nature Explorers

Children discover the wonders of British woodland as they learn how to identify our local trees, search for their favourite minibeast friends and take part in a team scavenger hunt

Adventurers Unite

Children work together on a range of team challenges and adrenaline fueled activities- such as archery, buggy build, high ropes and underground tunnels.
